Leopold Godowsky short biography

A great virtuoso pianist and composer, Leopold Godowsky was born in Poland. Considered one of the most outstanding piano virtuosos of his generation, Godowsky performed thousands of concerts all over the world. Godowskys’s piano arrangements and studies are of extreme technical difficulties. Godowsky's Waltz Masks and compositions for 2 pianos are great examples of his unique style. In 1891, Godowsky became US citizen.
